Description	Enjoy a self guided full-day journey into the heart of central Switzerland, departing from Lucerne and traveling along the sparkling shores of Lake Lucerne to Weggis, a charming resort town on the Lucerne Riviera. From Weggis, board a panoramic cable car to Rigi Kaltbad, where you can indulge in a moment of pure relaxation at the Rigi Mineral Baths & Spa. Soak in the indoor and outdoor mineral pools while taking in breathtaking views over the Alps and Lake Lucerne — a unique blend of wellness and nature. The Rigi Kaltbad Mineral Baths & Spa was designed by renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta. Its tranquil and contemplative ambience makes it the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The large indoor pool with its deep niches leads directly into the outdoor pool, where bathers are greeted by a sweeping Alpine panorama. Here, everyday life is quickly forgotten. The region’s bathing tradition has its origins in the 16th century. At the time, the «Kalte Bad» (cold bath) on Mt. Rigi become a famous pilgrimage site and one of the first bathing chapels was erected here. Then as now, visitors bathe in the mineral-rich spring water from the Three Sisters Springs. Nowadays, however, this is heated to a cozy 35° Celsius with two pellet heaters. The pool complex is complemented by a spa area including a crystal spa, steam room, organic sauna and expansive chill-out zone. The luxurious facilities are rounded off by a large selection of massages, as well as beverages and light cuisine in the bistro. After this rejuvenating break, continue your ascent aboard Europe’s first mountain cogwheel railway to the summit of Rigi Kulm at 1,797 meters. From the top, enjoy sweeping panoramic views over the Swiss Plateau, deep blue lakes, and the surrounding Alpine peaks. Take time to stroll along easy hiking paths, visit the Rigi Kulm chapel, or enjoy traditional Swiss dishes at a mountain restaurant. Descend by cogwheel train to Vitznau, where you will embark on a peaceful one-hour cruise on Lake Lucerne, surrounded by spectacular natural scenery.
